Know Your Rights for Protests

The training will cover: key messages, interacting with police and security, common offences used at protest and what to do if you are stop-and-searched or arrested.

It will be 2 hours long, with a break, with time for questions at the end.

Live auto captions will be available, and we’ll share notes afterwards to allow folks to participate fully.

We will endeavour to give content notes for policing, state violence, racism, ableism, transphobia and transmisogyny.

Please let us know on the form if you have any additional accessibility needs and we will get in touch to discuss how we can best support you.

If you have any specific questions about protest rights or police powers call the Protest Support Line on 07946 541 511
